EDINBURG - An important tradition to the city of Edinburg is hosting its 52nd annual Fiesta Edinburg event. It is a four-day family-fun filled event starting Thursday, Feb. 20 through Sunday, Feb. 23 at the H-E-B Park.

It was announced Friday, Jan. 24 at Edinburg’s Fiesta Chevrolet, that Rodney Atkins and Los Palominos would perform.

Atkins is an award-winning country music artist who had 13 million albums sold. He is known for his songs, “If You’re Going Through Hell (Before the Devil Even Knows),” “Watching You,” and “Caught Up in the Country.” Atkins will perform Friday, Feb. 21, at 10 p.m.

Grammy-award winning Tejano group, Los Palominos will perform Saturday, Feb. 22, at 10 p.m. The Texas-native group is known for their songs, “Te Seguire,” “Por Eso Te Amo,” and “Corazon de Cristal.”

Bert Ogden Fiesta Chevrolet presented a $20,000 check to the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit local organization of businesses, that will go towards the funding of Fiesta Edinburg.

The event is free to the public and will feature Heart of America’s carnival, food, ‘motorcycle madness’, arts and crafts, live music and a petting zoo.

H-E-B Park is located on 1616 S. Raul Longoria Rd in Edinburg. Fiesta Edinburg 2020 is sponsored by the City of Edinburg, Edinburg Chamber of Commerce, Edinburg - Economic Development Corporation and Rio Grande Valley Bert Ogden, Fiesta Chevrolet Edinburg.
