EDINBURG - The City of Edinburg invites the public to connect to our Live Music Online Spring Concert Series. This Facebook Live series will kick off with the live presentation of Mario Aleman this Saturday, April 18th, 2020, at 7:00 PM. Mario will be hosting the first of many more live performances by renowned musicians from the Rio Grande Valley.

The City of Edinburg’s Arts Division continues to promote arts by programming these Online Concert Series. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy live music with fantastic performers while staying safe at home. This concert series will take place every Saturday evening from April 18th through May 23rd, 2020, at 7:00 PM.

Rumba Flamenco guitarist/composer, Mario Alemán, is currently a self-managed artist performing for his indie label, Innerflame Productions. Alemán's musical performance is an exciting blend of intense Rumba Flamenco rhythms, seasoned with impassioned, soul-stirring melodies, and all topped with Mario's fiery & blistering acoustic guitar work. Steady bookings, including session/studio and live performances, keep the Rio Grande Valley native very busy on the local and international music scene. In 1990, Mario took 1st place at the Art Institute of Dallas' Guitar Wars competition, and in 2001, Alemán had the honor to perform for former US President Bill Clinton. Alemán is currently promoting his most recent CD release, Soulspeak, an instrumental album in the Rumba Flamenco format which showcases Mario's incredible talent.

Everyone is invited to take part in this Live Facebook Event at https://www.facebook.com/edinburgarts and stay tuned for the following concerts by Elias Montemayor, Ram Denesse, Dulce Maria Gonzalez, Erika Munoz, and Jake Cortez.
